February 2021 Classes - Exploring the "Core"

I have such a love-hate relationship with focusing on the “Core”. 

On the one hand, it is an area EVERYONE believes they want/need to focus on so you have a really engaged audience. 

On the other hand, “core strength” is so poorly understood that people think they have to “suck it all in and feel the burn” to work on the core. 

This month - we’re going to debunk some of those myths/misunderstandings so people can start to feel the difference of working efficiently through their core rather than bracing. 

(As an aside, this month continues with the “Fundamental Principles” for Pilates. January we covered Principle 1. Breath. This month we cover Principles 2 and 3: Axial Elongation/Core control AND Spinal Articulation).
